I received my BA in Fine Arts from UCLA in
1974. Since then, I have been inspired by the unique
qualities of our natural surroundings through the
media of watercolors, acrylics and pastels. Many
paintings are completed “en plein air”,
working on location to capture the nuances of atmosphere
and light conditions on the landscape.
My other specialty is painting portraits of people
and the animals they love.
My artwork can be found in numerous private collections,
as well as UCSC McHenry Library and the Center for
Conscious Living in Santa Cruz.
For the past 32 years, I owned and directed a Montessori
school, have taught art to all ages, and tutored elementary school age children.
My other interests include singing, playing percussion, photography and gardening.
